Miller & Durham is a law firm partnership, founded in 1986 by the joint efforts of Douglas E. Miller & C. Wesley Durham. Matthew Elliot Durham joined the partnership in 2009. Ryan Daknis is an associate member of the partnership. The law firm has thrived in Hardin County and surrounding counties, servicing individuals and business alike in a professional and personal manner. Douglas Edward Miller

Born in 1955 in Louisville, Kentucky, he attended University of Louisville undergraduate business school and received a Bachelor of Science in Finance in 1977. Doug worked five years for C. Lee Cook Division of Dover Corporation and has practiced law in this Commonwealth for the last 32 years.

Doug is admitted to practice in Kentucky state trial and appellate courts; Federal District Court and Bankruptcy Courts; 6th Circuit Court of Appeals and the US Supreme Court. He is the senior partner in the law firm of Miller and Dunham. Doug has an active general practice, primarily in the areas of domestic relations, criminal defense, personal injury, and bankruptcy. Martindale-Hubbell rates him BV Distinguished, an excellent peer review rating of 4.4 out 5.0.

Doug was the incorporator and premier board member of Kensington Place Homeowner's Association. He has served in the past as a mock trial mentor; basketball, baseball, football, soccer and golf coaches; Cub Scout den leader; Men's Club officer and officer of the Hardin County Bar Association. In addition, Doug is a member of the Radcliff Rotary Club, Lions Club, and Radcliff Chamber of Commerce.

Doug is married to Susan Straub Miller and they have 4 children. He is an accomplished golfer and pianist and enjoys most outdoor sports with his friends and family.
Edward Miller

Charles Wesley Durham

Wesley was born in 1954, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He was raised in Campbellsville and after graduating from high school in 1972, attended Campbellsville College until 1974, entered the U.S. Army for three years and concluded his undergraduate degree with High Distinction at Eastern Kentucky University in 1979. Wesley taught at Fort Knox, Family Schools for seven years and obtained his Master's Degree from Western Kentucky University and was named to the National Deans List in 1981.

Wesley attended the University Of Louisville School Of Law graduating Cum Laude, receiving his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1986. While in law school, Wesley was inducted into the Brandeis Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society, and received Book Awards for the top grade in Criminal Law, Basic Tax, Secured Transactions, and Legal Writing. Wesley has been a partner in the law firm of Miller & Durham since 1987. Wesley enjoys serving in church, prison and Emmaus ministries, he is an accomplished artist, and enjoys fishing and hunting with his wife.

Wesley is admitted to practice before all the courts of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky, and the U.S., Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Wesley's practice gravitates toward personal injury, probate, criminal defense, domestic relations and civil litigation.

Wesley is married to Marilyn Durham and has two sons, Joshua and Matthew and a daughter, Jenafier. Marilyn is retired from teaching at Fort Knox Family Schools. The Durham's are active serving members of Crossroads Baptist Church. Marilyn serves the children's ministries, and Wesley serves as an elder and life group leader. Both Wesley and Marilyn serve in the Campbellsville Emmaus Community.

Wesley has served the church in such capacities as Sunday school teacher, Choir member and Deacon.

Matt Durham

Matthew Eliot Durham was born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky in 1983. He attended Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky for his undergraduate work and earned a Bachelor of Arts in History in the Spring of 2005, graduating Magna Cum Laude as an Honor Scholar. Upon graduation, he was admitted to the New England School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate in the Fall of 2008. After law school, he moved to Elizabethtown Kentucky and began working for Miller and Durham.

Matthew Durham was admitted to practice in Kentucky in 2008 and joined Miller & Durham and immediately began practicing. He has appeared before District and Circuit Courts in Hardin, Larue, Meade, Grayson, Nelson, Simpson, Taylor, Hart, Bullitt, Breckinridge, Anderson, and Jefferson counties as well as in United States District Court on Ft. Knox and in Jefferson County. Matt is also a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the Hardin County Bar as well as the Elizabethtown Kentucky AM Rotary.

Matthew married Sarah Willoughby in 2005 and has three children. Matthew is an avid outdoorsman, and enjoys sports and spending time with family and friends.

Matt Durham

Ryan William Daknis

Ryan William Daknis was born in San Diego, California in 1987. He attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah for his undergraduate work and earned a Bachelor of General Studies, emphasis in American Studies. Upon graduation, he was admitted to the University of Louisville Brandeis School Of Law where he graduated, Cum Laude, with a Juris Doctorate in April 2017. After law school, he started working at Miller & Durham as an Associate Attorney in October 2017.
 
Ryan was admitted to practice in Kentucky in October 2017. He has appeared before District and Circuit Courts in Hardin, Larue, Meade, and Jefferson counties. Ryan is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky and is a member of both the Kentucky Bar Association and the American Bar Association.


Ryan married Christina White in 2012 they have one child together, Charles Rutledge "Rudy." He enjoys reading and spending time with his family and friends.
